Dear Families of Cedarmere Elementary,

Our school community is successful because of our children, their families, and our teachers and staff. Our students come to us each day ready to learn because of your efforts in the home. By checking homework, reading the newsletters and flyers from school, and insuring that your children get enough rest, you help us to keep the focus on daily learning.

Our PTA is a supportive and encouraging group of parents who work tirelessly on behalf of our children. If you have not attended a PTA meeting, look for the next announcement. Our PTA members provide families with a light dinner. Then there is free childcare so that the parents can stay for the meeting. What a deal! Join us and stay informed about all that is happening here at Cedarmere.

Our children benefit from the knowledge and skills of a dedicated faculty. The experience of teachers ranges from first year to over thirty. They work together in a collaborative manner to plan lessons and assessments. We seek to provide an outstanding instructional program as we strive to prepare our community’s students for the world of the 21st century. Every child is important and deserves our commitment to teaching and learning.
