Chatsworth School is located in the northwest area of Baltimore
County in the heart of historic Reisterstown. The school population
is diverse ethnically and socio-economically. Chatsworth School
is comprised of two different components, the Multiage Magnet Program
and a self-contained Special Education program. The Northwest Pupil
Services Offices are also housed at Chatsworth.
Mission Statement: Chatsworth School will provide a nurturing,
challenging, safe learning environment in which students will learn
concepts and skills as outlined by the Maryland State Content Standards/Voluntary
Curriculum. Progress will be measured through ongoing, meaningful
assessment and standardized tests. School wide instructional strategies
and support services will be implemented to help students meet or
exceed state standards and achieve to their highest potential.

Statement
Multiage Magnet: Chatsworth School is not a home school since
it does not have defined neighborhood boundaries. The Multiage Program
is open to all students in the Northwest Area, with transportation
provided for those whose home schools are Glyndon, Franklin, Cedarmere,
Timber Grove, Reisterstown, or Owings Mills Elementary.

Special Education: Chatsworth School provides a continuum
of special education services (Levels I - V) through the inclusion
model, two self-contained adaptive classes, and eight self-contained
classes for students who are seriously emotionally disturbed
