First Grade Supplies

School Supplies – 2007-2008

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Pinewood Elementary!  Please label all supplies with your child’s name.  Also, we would appreciate your child having these supplies the first day of school.  SPECIAL NOTE:  Supplies purchased at Office Depot earn our school 5% of sales.  Mention Pinewood or show this list and use ID #70047487.

Grade 1

o         1 back pack (no rolling back packs)

o         1 school box to hold supplies

o         1 box crayons (24 count)

o         1 box crayons (8 count) to be shared with the class

o         6 pencils, # 2 with erasers, sharpened

o         12 plain, sharpened # 2 pencils to be shared with the class

o         1 pair scissors (Fiskars)

o         2 large glue sticks

o         4 glue sticks to be shared with the class

o         1 bottle Elmer’s glue

o         1 eraser, pink pearl only (no art gum)

o         1 primary composition notebook

o         1 spiral, wide-ruled notebook

o         1 wide ruled marble composition notebook

o         1 box washable markers

o         1 box thin Crayola washable markers to be shared with the class

o         1 yellow highlighter

o         1 blue dry-erase marker

o         1 activity-type coloring book

o         4 Duotang pocket folders with inside fasteners – 2 blue, 1 red & 1 green

o         If your last name begins with A-M, 1 box quart size Ziploc or Glad Lock bags

o         If your last name begins with N-Z, 1 box gallon size Ziploc or Glad Lock bags

o         1 large box facial tissues

o         1 large box baby wipes (not rolls)

o         1 Purell hand sanitizer pump           

•    1 art smock or old, over-sized shirt with sleeves cut off
