Tips for Learning

We are proud of our students and school. Our students received a copy of the BCPS Behavior Handbook during the first weeks of school. In addition, each teacher developed a behavior management plan for the classroom. It is our expectation, the teachers’ plans and our school Code of Behavior, will lead students to behave in a manner that will promote a safe and productive learning environment for all of our students.

AES Code of Behavior

1. Cooperate and settle disagreements peacefully.
   1. Work well with others
   2. Follow rules
2. Respect yourself
   1. Demonstrate responsibility
   2. Participate in class
3. Respect ALL others
   1. Show respect for others
4. Be prepared and ready to learn
   1. Complete and return homework
   2. Complete assignments on time
