Frequently asked questions of the Nurse:

Q: How do I call the nurse directly?

A: Lisa Jablon may be reached at 410 887 1079. Her email is ljablon@bcps.org

Q: How should I send in medication for my child?

A: Medication MUST NOT be sent in with your child. You must bring it in along with written instructions from your child's doctor or nurse practitioner, along with your written permission.

Q: Can I send cough drops to school with my child?

A: There is no need to send cough drops if you signed a Consent for Administration of Discretionary Medication form. That form allows the nurse to dispense acetamenophen (tylenol), cough drops, antacid tablets (Tums) diphenhydramine(Benadryl) and for children older than 12 years of age, ibuprofen ( Advil, Motrin)


  Pre K students who are 3 and 4 years old
are required to have at least on shot of pneumococcal vaccine (Prevnar/PVC7)
