School

Opening in 1957, the school includes prekindergarten through grade 5. After completing the elementary years at Glenmar, our students attend Middle River Middle School or Parkville Middle School.

Community:
Glenmar Elementary is situated in the Middle River area of Baltimore County. The campus is surrounded by the new “Miramar Landing” housing development consisting of town homes, single homes and  senior citizen homes.

Special Programs:
Glenmar supports and executes the Baltimore County Curriculum (http://www.bcps.org/offices/humanities/)
 in prekindergarten (two-half day sessions), full-day kindergarten and grades 1 to 5.
Gifted and Talented Programs are available to qualified third, fourth, and fifth grade students in reading and math. Glenmar provides inclusive and adaptive programs for students with special learning needs. The school receives federally funded Title 1 funds that supplements the school’s curriculum and instruction.
