Jump Rope:  All students in grades K-5 have started a jump rope unit.  This skill is particularly difficult for kindergarteners and first graders.  Please encourage your student to practice at home.  (Jump ropes make great holiday gifts!)

Art

Welcome to the Art Room!!  This year we will have so much fun and learn exciting things!!  Our artist of the year is Henri Matisse.  We will study his life and art during the school year.  Please make sure everyone has an art smock as soon as possible, so we can get started creating right away!!  Please check back for needed art supplies during the year, updates to art projects and exhibits, and special events. I look forward to seeing everyone during the first week of school!

Library

Where has the summer gone? The library is ready to go. We have an exciting program planned to explore the world of children’s literature and how to use information effectively. I hope everyone had an exciting summer reading with SNEAKS at Baltimore County Public Library. I can’t wait to hear about all the great books you read!
If you borrowed any books for the summer from the school library, please remember to bring them in on the first day of school.
