Relay Elementary PTA Welcome! On behalf of the Relay PTA, I’d like to welcome and encourage your active participation in the upcoming 2009 – 2010 school year! I did some research on the PTA organization as a whole and found some astonishing accomplishments that really exemplify why being a part of the PTA can make a big difference in our children’s lives. Did you know that the PTA has worked to make significant positive changes for all children, including school breakfast and lunch programs, nationwide polio vaccinations, and most recently, parent involvement standards in the federal act known as the No Child Left Behind Act? Can you imagine our children not having a school lunch program? Without the involvement of the PTA, this may not have been possible. You can help make a difference this year by being a part of this great organization. Our goal is to support Relay Elementary School, encourage parent involvement, support teachers and organize family events. We encourage you to participate, share information and ideas, ask questions, and make recommendations. You will have an opportunity to join the PTA at “Back to School Night” on September 8th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Relay Elementary School.
