Our
Library
Over the course
of the summer, the library at Rodgers Forge Elementary
underwent a radical renovation. Furniture was removed,
the collection was weeded and the library as a whole was
given a new "face". The library remains a work
in progress, as we will work over the course of the next
year or two to continue the renovation by:
Building up the library's collection of quality literature
Replacing the
existing shelving with more appropriate shelving solutions
Creating inviting,
reading areas to promote literacy
Increasing the
number of laptops for student use
Completing the
artwork on the walls and columns
We will be working
to raise funds for these projects through: Scholastic Book
Fairs, Tech Trek and other fundraisers - we need your ideas
and your help!!
