Welcome
As a Title One and Reading First school, we are
fortunate to have resources for staff and students in the form of
intervention teachers and additional materials. Teachers have access to
instructional technology such as LCD projectors, Inter-Write Tablets, and
Turning Point student response systems in order to provide engaging and
interactive lessons differentiated to meet the needs of the students.
Our MSA test scores are advancing due to the motivated students and
committed staff. Learning opportunities outside of the regular school
day are provided in the form of Math 24 Club, Black Saga Club, Computer
Club, and Coach Classes for reading and math. Scotts Branch empowers not
only the mind but the body as well. To that end we provide school-wide
morning exercise opportunities and aerobic conditioning clubs where
students learn to monitor their heart rates.
Scotts Branch Elementary School is a vintage building brimming with new
ideas and the latest technology available for teachers to provide
effective instruction.
