Mrs. Claudia Amory, Art |
I have taught art for 15 years, eight in Baltimore
County and seven in York County, Virginia. I have
degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University and
The Maryland Institute, College of Art. Prior to
teaching in Baltimore County, I served as Director
of School 33 Art Center in Baltimore. My paintings
have been exhibited at the University of Maryland
Baltimore County, the Arlington Art Center in Arlington,
Virginia and the Academy of the Arts in Easton,
Maryland. I love teaching art at Seventh District!
I also enjoy making art, going to museums, reading,
going to the beach, and windsurfing.

I love teaching the 4th and 5th graders
to play instruments! I wanted to be an Instrumental
Music teacher since ninth grade, and have been teaching
for many years in various Baltimore County schools
including Prettyboy and Fifth District. I play
guitar and sing in a praise band called “The
Good Neighbors”. My interests are horses
(I have three of them) and traveling.

I have been teaching since 2000 and
love being a part of the Seventh District Team! I
live in Shrewsbury, PA with my husband, Will and
our daughter Stephanie. For pleasure, I enjoy playing
the guitar and flute. I also enjoy white water rafting
each spring on the New River of West Virginia. My
other hobbies include reading, Sudoku, crossword
puzzles, gardening and creating stained glass pieces
