     The faculty and staff of Timber Grove Elementary School believe active student learning is essential to student achievement.  Therefore, classroom instruction is designed for full student participation and emphasizes questioning techniques, critical thinking, problem solving and performance assessment.  To develop skills and concepts, teachers lead children to discover and explore new areas of knowledge of their new learnings.

We believe a self confident child is highly apt to perform to his/her fullest potential.  Therefore, creating a positive self concept is considered of utmost importance.  We believe that a positive relationship between the home and the school ensures that all children will learn and achieve.  We are partners in the important endeavor of helping all our boys and girls learn and grow.
