I started teaching second grade
in September of 1998, and I believe it is absolutely the best
age. I student-taught at Warren Elementary and I am thrilled
to be back. I love coming to school each day and working closely
with each child. I look forward to spending many more years
here.

I am very happy and delighted to be a teacher
at Warren--not only because it is our neighborhood school
and we think it is a great school, but also our children,
Melissa and Dimitri both attended Warren. My husband, Alec,
was Warren's PTA president, a third grade teacher, an assistant
principal, and also a principal at Warren Elementary School.
I began teaching in 1972 but took time out to stay home
with my children. While I stayed home, I was able to complete
11 long-term teaching positions--six of which were at Warren.
My family enjoys going to the movies and attending sporting
events. We also enjoy visiting Washington, D.C. and New
York City. |

Miss Kiederer
(First & Second Grade
Teacher) |
I am originally from Yorktown Heights, New York, which
is in Westchester County. I attended Towson University
and graduated from there with honors in May 2002. I
majored in Elementary Education, and decided after graduating
that Maryland was where I wanted to make my home. This
is my first year teaching, and Warren has become a wonderful
setting for my entrance into the world of education!
Ever since I was young, I have wanted to be a teacher.
I gave piano lessons for five years, taught Sunday School,
and tutored many children in all subjects. In my spare
time, I like to cook and spend time with my three roommates.
I also enjoy catching up with my brother and my parents
when they find time to visit! When given the opportunity,
I love to play the piano and sing! |
