I have truly found a home at Warren. The
administration, teachers, and staff are supportive, dedicated
professionals who more than rise to the challenges of
teaching, and they enjoy it! My teaching career has been
spent in the third grade, beginning at Calvert School
in 1979. After teaching there for three years, my next
12 years were spent in the business world, with the "itch"
for teaching ever-present in the back of my mind. Leaving
that world behind, I've been back in the classroom ever
since. I enjoy spending time with my wife, Roslyn, who
is also a teacher. We enjoy ice skating, gardening, exercising,
walking, bike riding, volleyball, and fishing (which is
my personal favorite). We also have two cats that let
us live with them. |

I am enjoying my first
year of teaching at Warren Elementary School. I
graduated with honors from Villa Julie College with
a degree in elementary education. I have a young son
who keeps me busy when I am not teaching. |

I am a native of Baltimore. I started teaching
in Baltimore County right out of college and have taught first,
second, third, and fifth grades. Each grade has its own challenges
and rewards so it would be difficult for me to choose a favorite
grade. In my free time, I like to read mysteries, listen to
all types of music, and watch old movies. |
