Vision Statement
Identified secondary students who are at risk for academic failure will develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to launch a successful foundation for learning in home schools in accordance with the Blueprint for Progress and the Master Plan.
|
Mission Statement
The Bridge Center’s mission is two-fold. It is to provide support for learning to secondary students who are at risk for academic failure due to interruptions in their education by identifying and implementing appropriate academic, behavioral, and therapeutic interventions. In addition, it is to establish a bridge between the Center’s Educational Support Plan and the comprehensive school program.
|
Goals
- To improve achievement through expediting appropriate academic placements of secondary students into Baltimore County home schools in the Northwest, Southwest and Southeast areas.
- To create a safe, secure, supportive learning environment as secondary students enter the Center and home schools.
- To use resources effectively and efficiently to insure optimal transition and academic success for students.
