Vision

All students will apply the knowledge, skills, values, and behaviors learned through participation in a rigorous STEM-based education in order to realize their maximum potential as citizens and become more productive individuals in the global economy, thus keeping the United States high in global competitiveness.

To provide an environment that fosters high standards for academics, relationships, and goal setting through a rigorous STEM-based culture.

Goals

• Create an academic culture that fosters accountability and success.
• Improve countywide and standardized assessment scores.
• Increase the number of students in honors and AP courses.
• Increase the number of students who attend postsecondary institutions.
• Increase the graduation rate and decrease the dropout rate.
• Establish a clear system of career and college readiness for all students.
• Reinforce connections between the STEM cluster and postsecondary institutions
  in order to motivate students to pursue a STEM-based career.
• Invite mathematicians, scientists, engineers, and other STEM professionals into
  the classrooms to share their expertise and excite students about potential fields of
  study.
• Create a positive school culture that stresses personalization in planning and decision-making.
• Establish a rigorous STEM-based academic program.
• Increase the number of highly qualified teachers.
• Increase participation in STEM fairs, symposia, and other projects.
• Increase participation in after school and summer enrichment programs.
• Integrate electronic methodologies into new and existing curricula.
• Create and foster effective lines of communication between parents and the greater community.
• Implement best practices in career awareness education for students and families.
• Provide professional development opportunities to enhance the readiness, support
  and commitment of the staff.
• Model positive relationships and communication and instill values such as honesty,
