WHY TO JOIN?

The Franklin High School Athletic Boosters, Inc. is a non-profit volunteer organization established to promote school spirit and work to improve our sports and club teams. Our primary purpose is to get students, parents, staff and the community involved in our programs so we can support FHS athletics. The athletic programs at FHS offer all students an outstanding opportunity! Academic excellence, sportsmanship, competition, and personal improvement are the common goals of the school's administration, coaching staff, and the Boosters. We usually meet the second Wednesday every month at 7:00PM in the library. Please join us! We need your support, ideas and involvement.

Why Join? Each year, the Baltimore County School system provides some monetary support for the athletic programs at Franklin High School. Event admissions, concession sales and student fund raising efforts combine with the system funds cover a portion of the total operating budget for the athletes at Franklin High School. Since those activities alone do not totally fund the athletic programs at Franklin, the FHS Athletic Boosters, Inc provides supplemental funds to your son or daughter’s teams. One hundred percent of your membership donation goes directly to support each and every athletic team at Franklin High School – 43 athletic programs, 700+ athletes!!

Membership fees, fundraising events, concessions and merchandise sales and direct donations support as follows:

  • Provide new uniforms and equipment to ALL teams in need
  • Provide awards, letters and scholarships for athletes
  • Maintain and operate concession stand
  • Fund special projects and recognition activities
  • Promote school spirit!!
