Three Franklin High School students had an opportunity to have their college questions answered on Maryland Public Television’s “Direct Connection” program that aired Monday, January 28. Read more about our Franklin television stars' experience.

A crew from MPT came to Franklin recently to tape students Celia B., Matt S. and Bryan K. as they asked questions relating to the college application process. The questions will be posed to “Direct Connection’s” special guest Jim Boyle, president of College Parents of America, a parent advocacy group for current and future parents of college students. The group’s aim is to make the college process less daunting by providing resources and answers for both prospective students and their parents.

“Direct Connection” is a local public affairs program that airs weekly on MPT, and provides viewers and studio guests to join in discussions. Check www.mpt.org for a schedule of reruns of this program.
