"Art is for Everyone"
The exhibit "Art Is For Everyone" is the annual Baltimore County art exhibit that showcases the artwork of students from Pre-K to 12. The exhibit ran this year from April 23 - 27th at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
Representing Overlea High School were Tre'yonn R. with an oil painting, Patrick R. with a photograph, ceramic artists, Charlie M. and Victoria R. and drawings from returning student, Mariah P.
A reception was held in the Sculpture Garden, Sunday, April 27th 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 pm. The Museum opens at 11:00 am and closes at 6:00 pm. Students, parents, teachers, friends and administrators were all invited.

Annapolis acknowldges Overlea art student
Ray John S.'s picture will be included in this year's state exhibit of work in Annapolis known as the "Maryland General Assembly Emerging Student Art Exhibit". It will be on display throughout the legislative session.

Self Portrait by OHS student hangs in BCPS Executive's office
Tre'yonn R.'s self reflection portrait is now hanging in the offices of Baltimore County's executive, Jim Smith, through the spring. There will be a reception for student artists sometime in February or March.

Mrs. Fishel and Mr. Grace's students, Sandra A. and Janet T., are being recognized for having their work included in the MAEA exhibit at Towson University. The photo below on the left is of Adrianne D.'s work which is on display at the Treasury building in Annapolis. The photo below on the right is of Janet T.'s work which was on display at the MAEA (Maryland Art Education Association).
