Parent Portal Instructions

Follow these simple steps to:

1. View your child's attendance.
2. Decide when and why you would like OHS to contact you in reference to your child's attendance.

Step 1.
Go to www.swipe12.com and click on the "Parent Sign Up" link located in the upper right corner of the screen.

Step 2.
Enter your sign-up information in the spaces provided and click "Next."

Step 3.
Enter Overlea High School's zip code (21206) and click "Find School." Select Overlea from the drop down menu.

Step 4.
Enter the ID number of your student (this can be found on their ID card) and click the "Add Student" button. Your student's name should appear. When you are finished, click "Next."

Step 5.
Decide how you would like to be contacted and about what. Caution: Clicking the first box will send you an email every day. Click the "Next" button when you are finished. Read and agree to the terms and conditions and click the "Submit Registration" button. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for your account to become active. The school must independently verify each account before access is enabled.
