Join us for American Education Week
November 16 - 20, 2009

Overlea High School will host "Parents Day" during American Education Week November 16–20, 2009.  Our designated Parent’s Visitation Day is Thursday, November 19, 2009. Parents are invited to visit classrooms for a hands-on experience of what the day is like for their children.

Parents Day helps emphasize the important role parents play in their child's success. Ongoing research shows that parental involvement in schools improves student achievement and behavior, reduces absenteeism, and restores confidence in their children's education.

What great things are you doing to make learning a positive experience for your child?  Please join us on November 19, 2009. We look forward to spending time with you and having you spend time in your child’s classes.
