2007 - 2008
The overall goal of the Parkville High Athletic Boosters is to promote sportsmanship, school spirit and pride among students, faculty and parents. We help stretch the athletic budget by raising money for things that the school could not otherwise afford, including more frequent upgrading of uniforms and equipment. For example, some things our funds provided this year are padded chairs for use in the gym by the indoor sports teams and four $500 scholarships. We also allocated funds for a new pitching machine and generator for use by the baseball team. We raise these funds primarily through concession sales, and our Craft Show and Flea Market, held each November and March.

PHS 2008 Flea Market and Craft Show

But that just means more to buy!
Parkville High Athletic Boosters will be sponsoring a Craft Show and Flea Market on Saturday, March 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Parkville High School. The Boosters are a non-profit volunteer organization, and all proceeds help support student athletic programs. We appreciate your interest and welcome your participation in our show!
Parkville High Athletic Boosters has hosted this event for more than 20 years and many of the exhibitors are repeat participants who have found the show to be a well-organized and profitable experience.
The event is held in a spacious, one-level indoor area that provides customers with easy, flowing shopping at over 100 spaces. The area is handicapped accessible and free parking is available. These factors, combined with abundant local advertising, draw an average of over 1,000 customers to our show! We encourage our exhibitors to bring collectibles/antiques, new items, sports memorabilia, crafts, and nearly new items.
Each space rents for $20 and is approximately 5-6’ deep with a 14’ customer viewing front. While special consideration is given to repeat exhibitors and those with physical limitations, spaces are assigned impartially, on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot guarantee a particular space without a signed contract – so please, respond early. Vendor registration will close on Saturday, March 8, or when all spaces are sold, whichever comes first. This event has sold out well before the deadline in the past, so please don’t hesitate – print out and return your contract today to secure your space.
If you wish to participate, review the terms and conditions below, then complete and return the enclosed registration form with the appropriate fees. Upon receipt of your form, we will send you a confirmation letter. If we are sold out of spaces, we will call you and return your check.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Exhibitors will supply their own tables, chairs, racks and display equipment.
- Sale of food that is designed for consumption at the show is not permitted.
- Parkville High Athletic Boosters reserves the right to deny entry or sale of any merchandise that is, in their opinion, deemed unacceptable or inappropriate.
- Exhibitors will remain set-up until the show closes at 2:00 p.m., promptly remove all items by 3:00 p.m., and leave their space in a clean condition.
