Middle States Excellence by Design Stakeholder Surveys

Dear Stakeholders,

As you know, Sparrows Point High School is in the process of celebrating 100 years of educational opportunities for our community. Just because we are in a time of celebration does not mean that we, as a community, can rest on our laurels. Please join us in our efforts to prepare to continue to meet the needs of the community and global economy as we move forth in the 21st century.  Sparrows Point High is in the process of being evaluated by a Middle States Accreditation Team. As part of that process, we ask that you complete the stakeholder survey designed for parents, faculty, and students. Thank you for your dedication and continued support. You are the best!!!

Sincerely,

Middle States Team

Front Office Information

In addition to providing new emergency cards for the office, please contact the guidance office to up-date a change in phone number and /or address. This will help maintain accurate school records.
To limit classroom interruptions during the school day, please make arrangements prior to the start of the school day should your son/daughter need to ride a different bus or go home with someone else. A reminder to parents, if your child is to be released early from school, send a note with your son/daughter. Be sure to include a phone number ; we will call to verify. If for some reason you don’t send a note, you can fax a note to the office or come in and sign your child out of school. The fax number is 410-477-4311.
Please call ahead to alert us. We must have a signature of a parent/guardian to release students. We appreciate your continued cooperation in this matter.
Did you know that if your child is under the age of 16 and is applying for a Learner’s Permit the MVA now requires an attendance form to be completed? A student cannot have more than ten absences in a semester. For your convenience, the forms are available in the main  office.
