The Sensational Class of 2008

Tuesday-Friday April 29-May 2, 2008

Senior Prom tickets will be on sale in room 103 and during all lunch shifts. Ticket price is $75. per person. Make checks payable to "Towson High School".

NOTE: Each senior is allowed to bring one guest. If a senior’s guest is not a THS student, the senior must fill out a Guest Form prior to purchasing tickets. Guest forms are available in the front office.  A student who is purchasing a ticket for a non-THS student must purchase his/her ticket and the guest ticket in the main office.

7:45 AM Senior Breakfast in Cafeteria and Slide Show in Auditorium

8:30 AM Graduation Rehearsal in Auditorium Distribution of Caps & Gowns, Graduation tickets

Each senior will receive 5 tickets at no cost. 1 more ticket will be available for purchase at $5.00 each. If additional tickets are needed, please contact Ms. Ebaugh in guidance. These will be distributed on a first-come/first-served basis, due to limited seating.

NOTICE ABOUT DANCE RULES

  • In order to be admitted to the dance, you must have a ticket with you. There will be no exceptions.
  •  
  • No backpacks, bags, large purses, etc. will be allowed into the dance.
  •  
  • Proper dress is required.
  •  
  • Only appropriate dancing will be allowed. Those who cannot dance appropriately will be asked to leave.
  •  
  • As always all school rules apply.
  •  
  • Students must arrive by 8:30 pm and leave by 12 midnight.
  •  
  • No re-admittance after exiting the building.
  •

    7:30 - 9:00 AM MANDATORY Graduation Rehearsal at Towson University Center Arena (Auburn Drive).

    Seniors provide their own transportation. Maps to Towson University Towson center Arena will be in ticket envelopes distributed on Friday, May 23 and in the main office.

    NOTE: Any senior who is not at this graduation rehearsal may not graduate from the stage on May 29th.

    6:00 PM Students report to Towson University Center Arena in caps & gowns for graduation

    7:00 PM Graduation at Towson University Center Arena

    Doors close at 6:45 for processional.Guests will not be seated during the processional.

    Special Graduation Instructions
    (Please read carefully)

  • Please follow all directions provided by University Personnel and High school Personnel.
  • Please remember that this is a formal ceremony.
  • Wear cap and gown and wear appropriate clothing and footwear for a graduation ceremony.
  • Seniors - do not bring cameras, purses etc. to graduation - There is nowhere to secure them and you MAY NOT CARRY anything in the processional.
  • Admission for guests will be by ticket only and no one will be admitted after 6:45 PM. Guests are reminded that this is a formal ceremony and proper dress and behavior are required. TICKETS ARE NOT SOLD AT THE DOOR.
  • Special needs seating is available. This seating is for the special needs guest plus 1 person.
  • Balloons & Food/Beverage other than bottled water are not permitted in the Arena.
  • No flash pictures during graduation, pictures may be taken from your seat only. Videotaping is permitted in designated area only.
  • A professional photographer will take each graduates' picture as he/she receives his/her diploma. A color proof of the photograph will be mailed, free of charge, to each graduate's home. If a graduate chooses to order additional proofs, please contact:
