The Towson High School Student Government Association

The THS SGA functions not only as a liaison between the student body and the school administration, but also plans student events. These include the fall and spring pep rallies, the homecoming and spring dance, the blood drive, and the canned food drive.

The SGA is comprised of the advisors (Mr. Faya and Mrs. Kemmery), the officers, the executive board, the general body, and the homeroom representatives.
The officers are a group of five elected students that plan meetings and serve as committee chairpersons.
The executive board is a group of sixteen students who apply and undergo a rigorous application process in the fall. The executive board members serve as co-chairs of committees and also participate as members of committees they are not co-chairing.
The general body is a group of about sixty students who join in the fall. They join three committees and serve as the voice of the student body.
The homeroom representatives must apply and be accepted in the fall. In the case that no one applies from a given homeroom, a student from a different homeroom will be assigned the task of keeping that homeroom informed of current SGA events.

For more information about the SGA, see an advisor or officer.
