MISSION STATEMENT

Western School of Technology and Environmental Science provides students with opportunities for success in self-selected programs. Students who apply to Western select a career and technology program or environmental science as their area of concentration. We believe all students can succeed and are entitled to a safe and orderly environment in order to be successful. In order to facilitate these goals, Western is committed to CPR2, (Courtesy, Punctuality, Responsibility, and Respect) and Western’s Benchmarks for Success. A summary of CPR2 for students, faculty, and parents is included in this handbook. The Benchmarks for Success are the goals students must achieve in order to be eligible for a Senior Option. Students get reports indicating their progress toward these goals three times a year.
