Reach Ou= t! Help the Outreach Committee! 2009 -2010=

The Outreach Committee provides students at CMS with necessary school supplies = and needy families in our community with food baskets. The committee is comprised of both faculty members and parents.

You can help. We are currently collecting school supplies which our staff discreetly distributes to studen= ts who need them throughout the school year.&= nbsp; You may send in your donations with your child to his/her homeroom teacher upon the return to school or send to the main office to the attenti= on of Denise Webster.

We are in need of the following supplies for the coming school year:

Three ring loose leaf paper

2 inch three ring binders with zipper

3” x 5” index cards

9” x 12” art sketch books

Reinforcements

Protractor/compass (straight edge r= uler type)

Highlighters

Glue sticks

Scientific calculators – TI-30XA

Pencils

Colored pencils

Colored markers

Subject dividers

2-pocket folders

Duo-tang folders

Hand held pencil sharpeners

Rulers- inches/centimeters

Scissors

Three ring zipper pencil case

Backpacks

Our committee also distributes food baskets to CMS families in the community at= the end of the November, December and in the spring. If your family, organization, or o= ffice is interested in donating a basket for the November or December collection, please let us know so we can make collection and distribution arrangements. The spring bask= ets are done through student donations in homerooms.
