School Clubs
A.M.S. Festival Choir
Festival Choir is an auditioned mixed choir of 50 students. Students are selected from grades 6, 7, and 8. Vocal selections are chosen to challenge and enhance the vocal ability of the student. Auditions are held during the first month of the new school year. Returning Festival Choir students DO NOT NEED TO REAUDITION for the next school year. Performances throughout the year include, but are not limited to, Winter and Spring school concerts, singing the National Anthem at Oriole Park, participating at the East coast regional Music Showcase Festival in Harrisburg Pa., participating at County and State level competitions. Participating at the regional competition involves a travel and fee expense. All attempts are made in advance to “budget” wisely for this event. Parents and guardians will be notified upon the acceptance of their child into this prestigious group the required financial obligations.
