Students,
At AMS, we believe that every child can succeed. Follow
these simple guidelines to help yourself achieve success.
- Come to school on time each day, and be on time
for each of your classes.
- Plan ahead! Have the correct supplies with you each
day.
- Use your Agenda Book daily to keep track of homework,
projects, announcements, upcoming events, and special
activities.
- Set realistic goals for yourself and work to achieve
them.
- Turn in all classwork and homework when it is due.
Don't procrastinate!
- Team up with someone in each of your classes whom
you can call if you need help.
- When you are absent, arrange to make up any missed
assignments immediately upon your return to school.
- Get involved in school, activities, and clubs.
- Respect the rights of other students, teachers,
and staff members. Working cooperatively with others
will benefit you and them.
- Remember that EVERY teacher at AMS is your teacher.
Comply cooperatively with the request of any staff
member. If you have a question about the request,
ask respectfully.
- Make your own decisions. Don't let peer pressure
influence you negatively.
- Ask for help when you need it. Knowing that you
need help and asking for it is a sign of strength,
not weakness.
