Students,

At AMS, we believe that every child can succeed. Follow these simple guidelines to help yourself achieve success.

  1. Come to school on time each day, and be on time for each of your classes.
  2. Plan ahead! Have the correct supplies with you each day.
  3. Use your Agenda Book daily to keep track of homework, projects, announcements, upcoming events, and special activities.
  4. Set realistic goals for yourself and work to achieve them.
  5. Turn in all classwork and homework when it is due. Don't procrastinate!
  6. Team up with someone in each of your classes whom you can call if you need help.
  7. When you are absent, arrange to make up any missed assignments immediately upon your return to school.
  8. Get involved in school, activities, and clubs.
  9. Respect the rights of other students, teachers, and staff members. Working cooperatively with others will benefit you and them.
  10. Remember that EVERY teacher at AMS is your teacher. Comply cooperatively with the request of any staff member. If you have a question about the request, ask respectfully.
  11. Make your own decisions. Don't let peer pressure influence you negatively.
  12. Ask for help when you need it. Knowing that you need help and asking for it is a sign of strength, not weakness.
