Sophia A.

I am an eighth grade visual art student. I am very excited to be a member of the literary magazine because I love both art and literature. As well as reading, writing, and art, I enjoy rock climbing, field hockey, hanging out with my friends and music. I hope to be able to make a big contribution to the magazine this year.

I am an 8th grader in the Japanese Magnet. I applied for a position on the 2006-2007 Sudbrook Spotlight online magazine staff so I might have a chance to help and contribute to a literary anthology that represents the entire school. My goal for the Spotlight is that students will submit diverse literary pieces to be shared and enjoyed throughout the student body.

Literary Editors

Derek S.

I am an 8th grader in the Environmental Science magnet. I wanted to join the Literary Magazine because I have a great passion for reading and writing. I have always loved reading, but I have recently picked up writing after being inspired by fantasy authors like Christopher Paloni, Tamora Pierce, Tolkein, and Rowling. I hope that Sudbrook’s On-Line Magazine will prove to adults and kids alike that you don’t need to be perfect to be a writer and that it is easy to publish things.

Literary and Visual Consultants

Sophia G.

I am a 6th grader here at Sudbrook and I am in the visual arts magnet. My interests include drawing, playing on the computer, and wasting my life eating pie. My goal for this year’s Literary Magazine is to inform the student body about the wonderful talent we have here at Sudbrook.

Lauren W.

I’m a 7th grader here at Sudbrook.  I’m a Level 2 visual arts student. Some of my interests include eating potatoes, listening to music, and surfing the net. I was a member of the Sudbrook Spotlight last year and I liked it  so much that I joined again. My goal for this year is to inspire our students to be proud of their literary and art abilities and encourage them to share it with others, using the magazine.
