We require all students to come to school dressed the “Windsor Mill Way,” in WM2 wear. This consists of three button collared shirts and:

  • 6th grade – red and grey shirts and khakis/black pants, capris, shorts or skirts
  • 7th grade – golden yellow and navy blue shirts and khakis/black pants, capris, shorts or skirts
  • 8th grade – white and black shirts and khakis/black pants, capris, shorts or skirts

School Supply List 2009-2010 School Year

In order to enhance the academic performance of our WMMS STAR students, the items listed below are required for the first day of school, checking every quarter and replacing them frequently.

General Supplies

  • Windsor Mill Middle planner/agenda book* (*Provided by the PTSA to every student)
  • 1 Large binder – 2” with metal rings, 2” D-rings (preferable), or 2” slant rings (AVOID zipper binders)
  • 1 Three-hole dictionary insert for binder OR a pocket dictionary
  • 10 Blank manila folders (No names please)
  • 2 Glue sticks
  • 2 Packs of reinforcements
  • 3 Packages of dividers (5/pkg.)
  • 3 Packs of index cards (3 x 5 lined)
  • 1 Ruler (Inch and centimeter)
  • 2 Erasers – (Stand alone erasers or pencil top erasers) No fluid or tape white out
  • 1 Set of colored pencils No markers or crayons
  • 20 Sharpened pencils with erasers
  • 10 Blue or black ink pens
  • 2 Highlighters (Yellow + 1 other color)
  • 1 Pencil case for the binder
  • 2 Packs of 100 sheets of notebook paper
  • 3 Marble composition notebooks - sewn binding (More marble notebooks may be needed. This will be determined by subject area teachers.)
  • 5 Pocket folders with 3 prongs inside
  • 1 Pack of post-it notes (Regular size)
  • 5 Book covers
  • 1 Protractor
  • 1 Four-Function calculator - For use at home
  • 1 Scientific calculator (ONLY for Algebra I & II students) – For use at home
  • 1 Backpack WITHOUT WHEELS (To be stored in locker during the school day)

Physical Education

  • 1 Three-subject notebook for 6th-7th-8th grade health
  • 1 White socks and tennis shoes that TIE
  • 1 PE uniform** (Purchased at school for approximately $22.00)
  • Sweatshirt/pants for outside wear
    **MANDATORY for class participation

Homeroom

  • 2 Boxes of tissues
  • 1 Bottle of hand sanitizer

Art

  • 1 Package of baby wipes
  • 1 Box of tissues
  • 1 Bottle of liquid hand soap

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Special area teachers and grade level teams will provide specific supply lists during the first week of school.
  • Supplies can be replenished throughout the school year at our school store.
